Top End Four Day Tour includes Kakadu National Park, Katherine Region and Litchfield National Park.
Day One
We arrive in the Kakadu National Park and stop at the tranquil waters of Maguk, Barramundi Gorge, for walking and swimming. Afterwards we make our way to the Yellow Waters for the mystical sunset cruise.
On Day Two we join the Guided Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River, for Cultural History of the people and land, whilst experiencing Ancient Traditions and viewing the rock art. This Cruise includes a step into Arnhem Land. An afternoon trek up the impressive Ubirr Rock, showcases terrific spots to view Ancient Aboriginal Rock Art Galleries and a step across the rock facing leads to the spectacular Nadab Lookout, with its 360’ views out over the Wetlands. An evening drive takes us into the Katherine Region for our overnight stay.
In Katherine, Day Three, we visit the vast Katherine Gorge and take the cruise along its impressive waterways, where we will hear the stories of the Jawoyn people. An afternoon is spent in the Nitmiluk National Park and the serenic Edith Falls, for a walk, dip or swim.
On Day Four we travel over to Litchfield National Park, where we get to visit a variety of flowing waterfalls, natural swimming holes and bush walks. We stop at the intriguing Termite Mounds and learn about their unique role in our Tropical Eco system. At the end of this day we travel back into Darwin to return you to your accommodation or the airport.
