Upon entering the Park we will visit the Magnetic and Cathedral termite Mounds, and learn about their formation, community and value to our unique Territory Eco system. A fantastic photo opportunity – and watch out for those wallabies amongst the towering peaks.
Mid morning, we visit Litchfields Wangi Falls, where you can swim by, the magnificence of the Falls and swimming pools, or take the Loopwalk through the Monsoon Forest.
A freshly prepared picnic lunch will be served up in a shaded spot in a Beautiful Bush setting, in the park itself. And after lunch we will take time at some of the other spectacular water ways and Bushland.
At Florence Falls, a double flowing waterfall, we find ourselves in a beautiful serenic swimming spot, where the water is clear and fresh and tranquil.
Then onto Buley rockhole, which will be the place for an additional stop, where multiple low waterfalls, cascade over the rock formations, creating a luxurious place to dip and swim. There is the opportunity to take the Bushwalk between Florence and Buley, immersed amongst the beauty of the Monsoonal Forest and Savannah Woodlands. Travelling with the driver, in the air conditioned vehicle is also an option.
Later in the afternoon we depart the Park and make our way along the Arnhem Highway to join your Private Group Crocodile Cruise on the vast Adelaide River.
