Three Day, Kakadu National Park, including Katherine Region, Professionally Guided Tour – itinerary:
On Day One we join the Guided Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator river, for Cultural History of the people and land, whilst experiencing Ancient traditions and rock art, including a step out into Arnhem Land.
An afternoon trek up the impressive Ubirr Rock show cases terrific spots to view the Ancient Aboriginal Rock Art Galleries and a step across the rock facing leads to the spectacular Nadab Lookout with its 360’ views over the Wetlands.
On Day Two we make a stop at the tranquil waters of Maguk, Barramundi Gorge, for walking and swimming. Afterwards we make our way to the Yellow Waters for the two hour Cultural cruise on these atmospheric waters.
In Katherine, Day Three, we visit the impressive Katherine Gorge and take the Cruise along its vast waterways, where we will hear the stories of the Jawoyn people. An afternoon is spent in Nitmiluk National Park and the serenic Edith Falls, for a dip or swim.
With convenient comfort stops, we head back up the Stuart Highway, where your Offroad Dreaming Guide will drop you back to your Darwin Accommodation.
