Families travelling with young children and grandparents could be looking for something different from an individual traveller or couples.
My answer is always the same regardless of who is asking.
You really can tailor the day to your own fitness and energy levels.
On Kakadu Day Tour the Ancient Rock Art Site at Ubirr is multi level. Some of the most spectacular art is on ground level. You can immerse yourself in the Aboriginal creation stories while your group make their way through the upper levels, or ask your Guide to point out the shady spots, where you can sit and relax and wait for the group to make their way back.
Making it all the way to the top, will provide spectacular 360′ views of the Nadab Floodplains and Arnhem Land, stone country, Escarpment. Definitely worth the effort.
The afternoon is spent on the Guluyambi Cruise, where you will be captivated by the Historical and Cultural stories, and gain a fantastic insight into Aboriginal Culture.
On Litchfield Day Tour the waterfalls we visit are a short walk from the car parks. Once there you can dip your feet in the fresh, cool waters or swim lengths in the deep pristine water. You can explore the surrounding Bush, or wade through the shallow rock pools.
You are welcome to chat with your Guide on the day and discuss your options and the activities that will best suit your plans.
Late afternoon we finish the day with the fascinating Crocodile Cruise and then you can relax as your Skipper takes you back to shore at sunset.
Our days are packed itineraries, but they are never rushed and there is plenty time at each location to relax or explore.
