What to expect on your Litchfield day tour
Starting off - Litchfield Termite Mounds and Wangi Falls

As we enter the park, you will get your first glimpse of the magnetic termite mounds. Our guides will share their knowledge about the termite’s contribution to our unique tropical ecosystem, whilst leading you through magnificent displays of their presence in the park.
In the morning, we will visit Wangi Falls. This will be your first opportunity to swim* in the crisp, clean Territory waters. Take a dip in the tranquil plunge pool below the face of the falls, or follow the 800m loop walk through the surrounding monsoon forest.
* Swimming and walks are subject to seasonal conditions.
Lunchtime - Florence Falls and Buley Rockhole

At lunch time, we will enjoy a freshly prepared picnic set up in a peaceful, shaded bush setting. We will move through native bushland en route to Florence Falls, another swimming opportunity by this scenic twin waterfall with plunge pool below.
A short drive or bushwalk for the explorers will lead us to the cascading waters of Buley Rockhole offering yet another chance for a cooling dip.
Afternoon - crocodile cruise

The final activity for the day will be a private group Crocodile Cruise on the vast Adelaide River. Wildlife expert and conservationist, Pat, is passionate about these magnificent creatures and is always keen to share his knowledge and experience with visitors. This is an opportunity to see the local animals in their natural habitat.
You will head back to Darwin having experienced some of the Territory’s most unique and serenic beauty spots. We will spot for wildlife as we travel through the National Park, hopefully catching sight of wallabies, goanna and frilled-neck lizards. The area is also home to countless bird species, including Brolga and Jabiru, to name a few.
